Terms of Use
These terms describe how the current LaniGo beta works, what users can expect from flight search and alerts, and which legal details still need operator input.
1. Acceptance Of The Terms
By accessing or using LaniGo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. LaniGo is currently operated by Oniga Madalin as an independent software project.
2. Eligibility And Account Registration
Public flight search is available without an account. Personal features, including saved alerts, alert management, and email notifications, require a registered account. Minimum age and eligibility details require legal input: 16 years.
3. Google Sign-In
LaniGo currently uses Google OAuth through Better Auth for sign-in. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure. LaniGo may reject, suspend, or deactivate access when authentication fails, the account is deactivated, or the service detects misuse.
4. Description Of The Service
LaniGo is a flight discovery and alerting tool. It helps users search for flights, compare current offers, create saved flight alerts, monitor alert execution, and receive email notifications when matching offers are found.
LaniGo is not currently an online travel agency, booking engine, airline, or ticket seller. It does not book, issue, cancel, refund, or modify travel reservations.
5. Beta-Service Limitations
LaniGo is currently a beta product. Features may change, be limited, fail, or be removed. The beta supports Basic fixed-date alerts. Pro and Premium plans exist in the data model and policy layer but are not available for creation or purchase during beta.
6. Flight Information And Pricing
Flight prices, availability, schedules, baggage rules, fees, fares, taxes, and booking conditions can change quickly. Provider data may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or rejected by a provider. Offers may expire or become unavailable before you open or book them.
You must verify price, itinerary, baggage, visa, entry, passport, refund, exchange, and booking conditions with the airline or booking provider before making travel decisions.
7. Alerts And Notifications
Alerts monitor configured routes, dates, budget, currency, and stop preferences. Alerts may be active, paused, or expired. Paused alerts are not processed by the scheduler. Expired alerts are retained as historical records.
Notifications are not guaranteed to arrive immediately or at all. Delivery depends on provider data, scheduler timing, email configuration, Resend availability, your email provider, and technical reliability. Alert Health advisory emails are informational and do not replace offer notifications.
8. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate search and alert information.
- Use LaniGo only for lawful personal or authorized purposes.
- Keep your account and Google sign-in secure.
- Verify travel details directly with airlines or booking providers.
- Do not rely on LaniGo as your only source for urgent travel decisions.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not misuse LaniGo. Prohibited activity includes:
- Automated scraping, excessive requests, rate-limit bypassing, or abusive search behavior.
- Attempting to access another user's alerts, sessions, dashboard, or account data.
- Interfering with the API, scheduler, provider integrations, or email delivery systems.
- Uploading, submitting, or transmitting malicious, unlawful, or infringing content.
- Reverse engineering or abusing undocumented internal endpoints.
10. Plans, Credits, And Usage Limits
The beta uses alert credits rather than subscriptions. New beta users receive three Basic alert credits. Creating an alert consumes one Basic credit. Credits are not restored when alerts are paused, expire, or the account is deactivated and later reactivated.
11. Third-Party Services
LaniGo uses third-party services to operate the product, including Google OAuth, flight data, Resend, PostgreSQL hosting, Vercel for the web app when deployed there, and Railway for the API/runtime when deployed there. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Intellectual Property
LaniGo, its interface, text, design, software, trademarks (if any), and product names are owned by Oniga Madalin, except for third-party services, open-source software, airline/provider data, and user-provided content.
13. Suspension And Deactivation
You may deactivate your account from the application. Deactivation revokes active sessions and stops alert execution while the account is deactivated, but it does not delete account history or restore consumed credits.
LaniGo may suspend or restrict access to protect users, the service, third-party providers, or legal obligations.
14. Service Availability And Changes
LaniGo may be unavailable due to maintenance, provider failures, hosting incidents, rate limits, scheduler delays, email delivery issues, or beta changes. LaniGo may modify or discontinue features, limits, routes, or integrations.
15. Disclaimers
LaniGo is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, subject to the limits allowed by applicable law. LaniGo does not guarantee that flight data is complete or current, that an alert will find a fare, that a notification will be delivered, or that an offer will remain available.
16. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaniGo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the service.
17. Indemnity
If appropriate under the governing law, you may be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of LaniGo or violation of these terms.
18. Termination
You may stop using LaniGo at any time. Account deactivation is available in the beta. The repository does not show a self-service full account deletion flow. LaniGo may terminate or restrict access if required to operate the service or address misuse.
19. Governing Law And Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
20. Changes To The Terms
LaniGo may update these terms as the beta changes. The page will show the latest update date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms, where permitted by applicable law.
